How to Sell Your Company
Our proven process ensures we close deals efficiently and without disruption to your business. We move on your timeline. Some deals close in 60 days, others take years.
Day 1: Introductory Call or Meeting
Connect with our M&A team to share more about your business and what you are looking for. And get your questions about Evergreen or the M&A process answered!
Day 2: NDA
In order to share data about your business and ours, we’ll sign a mutual NDA.
Day 3: Financial and Data Information Share
You share company financials and other key pieces of information. We schedule an hour-long call to go over questions on the information you shared and understand your objectives in more detail.
Day 5-7: Letter of Intent
We will submit a letter of intent (LOI) that clearly outlines the terms of the acquisition based on the information you have provided. If we agree to terms on the LOI, we both sign it and move forward to the due diligence phase.
Day 7-59: Due Diligence
Due diligence is a deeper dive on the business across financials, team, customer satisfaction, legal and post-acquisition value creation. We have consistent weekly touchpoints to ensure we are tracking to our closing timeline.
Day 60: Closing Day
We will sign the Purchase Agreement and wire funds – the deal is officially closed. Congratulations! Selling a business is a rare accomplishment and we encourage you to celebrate accordingly!

The first step would be an introductory call with us to learn more about each other and assess if there is a fit. Following that, we execute an NDA and review basic financial information to get to the point of submitting a letter of intent (LOI) which can happen in as quickly as a couple of weeks. Following a signed LOI, we will complete due diligence within 60 days and close the acquisition.
