I sold Netranom to Evergreen 1.5 years ago and couldn’t be happier with my decision. Absolutely zero regret.
I chose a partner who protects what we’ve built, our people, our clients, and our reputation
I'd like to say and I tell people that I really wasn't looking to sell. I still have a lot of very interesting work ahead of me, I have the best job in the world. I have a certain legacy here in terms of our clients and then, most importantly, our employees. The thing about Evergreen was there was an opportunity to preserve a significant part of that. I had what I consider two very premium offers on the table. What it came down to ultimately was decentralized aspect of Evergreen. Particularly since I wanted to continue in this business for some time and I knew that that would be the best approach for our employees but also our clients.
The biggest factor for us selling to Evergreen started on day one. I met Reed Goddard, he just seemed like someone who was truly, genuinely interested in our company and our business, in me and my leadership team. It wasn't just about a transaction, and that was meaningful to us.
